Mother Earth Products Inc. was founded by its current President and Chief Executive Renato “Abong” S. Tayag, Jr. in Angeles City, Philippines 1984. Until 1988 the company was producing cassava meal for livestock feeds and charcoal (from ipil-ipil) briquette processing for the local market.

The original focus of the business was cattle breeding and fattening. In 1991, Mt Pinatubo erupted. This was the time when the government liberated the importation of feeder cattle from Australia after that the story begins.

The company started putting up new meat processing plant, feedlot facilities and slaughterhouse at the same time expanding the market in Central Luzon, Northern Luzon and Metro Manila.

In February 1998 Mother Earth relocated its operations in Duquit, Mabalacat, Pampanga. Its modern meat processing plant is ideally located near the North Luzon Expressway.

In July 2002, Mother Earth integrated its abattoir to the meat processing plant. Kill floor features humane treatment of livestock and state of the art equipments. This technologically advanced slaughterhouse boast of temperature controlled walk in chillers, freezers and boning rooms for beef and pork ensuring premium meat quality.
